The five steps

Look at the live example. It takes 10 seconds and needs no account. Open the live example
Create an account and sign in. If you have an access code, enter it when you sign up. Create an account
Run a sample. On the Run the engine page, download Sample project 1, upload it as it is and click Run engine.
Open the one-page report and look at the finish date, the milestones and the charts. Does it make sense to you?
Import the XER file into P6. Use File, Import, Primavera P6 (XER). Did it import without errors?

Which version of P6 you imported into, and whether the import worked.
Whether the programme looked like something you would start from, and what looked wrong.
Where you got stuck or did not know what to do next.
